Aidan Walker | Memes. Culture. Politics.

I'm Aidan Walker, a writer and content creator focused on memes, internet culture and politics. My work appears at the BBC, Know Your Meme, The Daily Beast and More Perfect Union.

I'm currently Creator-in-Residence at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC, working on democracy and technology.

I hold a master's degree in History-Literature from Columbia University and EHESS. My research became a 100-page monograph on the Distracted Boyfriend meme, and I've lectured at Princeton University, the University of Amsterdam and American University.

For literary inquiries, I'm represented by Matt McGowan at the Frances Goldin Literary Agency. I have a book on the history of memes forthcoming.
